This year, with so very much snow, the oil seed rape fields are coming into flower much later and look more natural in their environment. Normally this blaze of yellow-flowered fields wakes up the English countryside whilst there are no leaves on the trees, as if winter has met summer!

The Leicestershire countryside is very beautiful around where I live and I plan to do a lot more painting outside this summer.
